Testimonials
“I spent three fantastic years living here while I completed my law degree. The house itself is great, one of the nicer houses in the neighborhood and it couldn’t be located in a better place! It was very convenient only being a few minute walk to the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics and Law School as well as the UI Campus bus route.
The kitchen is very nice and I spent a number of evenings studying on the deck, not to mention some great barbecues with the natural gas grill (no more running out of propane!)
Overall I would absolutely recommend my time here and if I ever return to Iowa City I’ll definitely look into renting here again!”
~Bill, Lawyer
“As a resident physician and a medical student, my husband and I both work odd shifts and long hours at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics (UIHC). The house at 28 Olive Court was perfect for use, as the proximity to the UIHC meant only a 5-10 minute walk to the hospital. It was so nice to be able to get a little extra sleep in the mornings and be able to come right home when getting off late without having to worry about bus schedules, traffic or parking. We also enjoyed being so close to the stadium for tailgating in the fall!
The house itself was great for us! As newlyweds, it was so nice to feel like we had a “home” we could settle into with the privacy of a house rather than an apartment. I will definitely miss the beautiful kitchen and gas stove! We really enjoyed our time at 28 Olive Court and would highly recommend it!

“We came to Iowa City looking for a house close to the hospital so we can continue to be a one car family. It has worked out great! Not only are we able to walk to work (at the UIHC) but it has made it possible to come for lunch too! We have loved only being a 25 minute walk to downtown Iowa City and enjoyed walking during nicer weather. The house is located right between all that Iowa City and Coralville have to offer. The deck is wonderful in the warmer weather and we use it almost every night! The neighbors are great and the neighborhood is very friendly! We have enjoyed our stay here and feel it was the perfect spot for our time in Iowa City”

“The house appealed to me because of its proximity to campus. The University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics, medical school, law school, and sports campuses are all within a few minutes walk.
The house is located in a mature neighborhood on a quiet street. It has great curb appeal and ample off-street parking. It has many recent updates throughout, most notable the kitchen was renovated to include granite countertops and stainless steel appliances! The main level has a nice layout which includes a bedroom, bathroom, office, kitchen, living room, and dining room which leads out to a large deck surrounded by mature trees. Many great nights were spent on that deck grilling with great friends! (See attached picture)
I had a great experience living there and highly recommend it to others.”

“My Wife and I moved into this home in January of 2009 for a six month stay. I had accepted a job relocation and was trying to sell the other home we owned. The furnished home could not have worked out better for us. We were expecting our first child and the proximity to the UI Hospital especially, could not be beat. It was faster for us to walk to the clinics than to drive and park in the hospital parking ramps.
Everything worked flawlessly throughout the home, and you would never know that the home had been rented before. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a treasure close to campus.”

“My wife and I enjoyed our stay at this house during the fall of 2008. The location was perfect for us working at the University. The nearby bus stop has both campus and city buses to downtown. One or the other bus comes by every 5 minutes or so during the day. The restaurant “Taste on Melrose” was an unexpected plus and that was much enjoyed.
The house was comfortable and easy to live in. The kitchen was easy to use with a good gas stove and microwave. The living and dining rooms were large enough to have a comfortable party of a dozen or so. My wife worked at home much of the time and made good use of the office space. All of the facilities such as the wireless, laundry and heat/ac worked without a hitch.”
